Founders Day: Saturday, February 25, 2012

Steel City Alumni Association is excited to celebrate Pi Kappa Alpha’s 144th anniversary by hosting Gamma Sigma Chapter’s 78th annual Founders Day celebration at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association. A cocktail reception featuring a cash bar will precede a formal dinner. The chapter will also hold an open house and cocktail reception at the chapter house at 4:00 PM. Fellow Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni:

We’d like to formally introduce and invite you to join the Steel City Alumni Association, a regional alumni association of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. The Steel City Alumni Association is making a strong effort to reach out to all 700+ Pike Alumni in the Pittsburgh area. This is our first attempt to get in touch with each of you to inform you of our existence and to extend an open invitation for participation in meetings and events going forward.

Over the next several months, we’d like to invite you to several exciting events that are in their planning stages. We are planning on hosting a happy hour June 2, a Pirates game in July, and a golf outing August 27. We hope to see as many of you there as possible, as we are always excited to meet new brothers.

If you’d like the stay informed of our newsletters, events and happenings, we will need your email address, as we do not typically send out hard copy mailings. To stay informed, please send your name, chapter, and email address to pittpikesalumni@gmail.com. There is no fee to join the organization and attend events though we do send out an annual donation form to help cover our standard operating expenses. Donations are not required for membership.
